[Thirteenth letter from Seoul, Korea] Balancing with my life

Hey, dear

Today’s luckily ‘BUDDA’s Day’ in Korea, which means ‘national holiday’ for Koreans.  I slept all day long and now I got up to feed myself. J  What a happy life!  Especially, I did enjoy a lot!

As I’m used to, I have been living with quite tough schedules.  I’ve got a temporary job in marketing field, have been taking 6 courses in universities, and have been few of volunteering jobs.  Also, I’ve met one nice guy from blind date (it’s very popular way to meet date mates in Korea, haha).  I don’t think it will work on very well, but still it’s fine.  J

When the time comes, we will experience so many diverse things which life gives to us.  Tomorrow, I will become 25(Korean age, in real I’m 24) and the day after tomorrow, I will attend my friend’s wedding.  Right after coming back to Korea in last year, I became an aunt of my relatives all of suddenJ.  Oh!! Last Tuesday, there’s a wedding of my friend’s friend, haha.  Still, oine more! J I got a phone call from my friend in Dubai, and he’s telling me he’ll be a father in this year!  It’s hard to believe for me that I’m in the age of experience ‘wedding’.

Last week, my father was seriously telling me about my future career and family life.  He’s very much aware that I’m into so much career stuffs, and he also did advise that my ‘future’ family life would be very tough unless I am able to balance family life and the work. That’s true, I know… but I’m debating between,

‘Should I be so much serious to consider all of life options?’

And

‘It would be okay to think in advance…. Yehh.. let’s find a right guy… haha

You might not be hard to understand, however, it’s true that balancing here, especially for woman… would be hard.  But let’s see what life gives to me. J

Meanwhile, I read one of very much inspiring Korean guy’s book, which is… ‘AD GENIOUS Lee, Jae Suk’. http://www.jeski.org/

If you’re my friend, you shouldn’t miss this guy.  He made up his mind to be in advertisement, moved into America, and his dream finally came true.  If you could appreciate his works, you couldn’t stop saying ‘WOW’.  That’s the reason why I let you be in the website.  Enjoy!!!

As I mention above, tomorrow is my birthday, and I will explore one of my very fine spots in Seoul.  I didn’t make any appointment other than my family so it will be very calm and nice day.  (Please, weather should be fine, hehe)

Anyhow,

Have a great day and hope you are really enjoying your relaxing moment like I did today!

Hugs,

Sun from Seoul

p.s. it’s nothing to do with ‘peace’, but finally it’s revealed 46 marine soldiers death was due to North Korea’s sudden attack. South Korean government has been trying to find proper sanctions all the way to North Korea. lol
